Tony Powe, Managing Director

Mr. Powe has over 20 years of private equity, operations and financial management experience. 

Mr. Powe currently maintains an active role in Epoch Capital Management's existing transactions, Northern Iowa Die Casting (Interim-CEO) and Cool Mountain Transport (board member).  Prior to founding Epoch Capital Management, Mr. Powe was a Managing Director and co-founder of Caymus Capital Group, a private investment firm that was involved in the acquisitions of several fulfillment and transportation company platforms. In this role, Mr. Powe sourced the opportunities and secured equity, mezzanine debt and senior debt financing for various acquisitions.  Prior to Caymus Capital Group, Mr. Powe co-founded and was a Managing Director of TPW Investments, a private investment company focused on acquiring and operating lower middle market companies.  Mr. Powe was also previously the Chief Executive Officer of North American Conveyor, a portfolio company of TPW Investments.  Prior to assuming the CEO position, Mr. Powe joined NACI as its Chief Financial Officer.

Mr. Powe also spent four years with Opportunity Capital Partners, a $140 million private equity firm, where he evaluated and managed equity and mezzanine debt investments in several private companies that have collectively raised over $400 million from various financing sources.

Before working with Opportunity Capital Partners, Mr. Powe worked with Merrill Lynch in its Structured Financial Products Group and with Exxon as a Territory Manager serving the general manufacturing, chemical and power generation industries. 

Mr. Powe holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management and a B.S. in mechanical engineering from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville.
